01 / THE SITUATION
In Nuneaton, I worked across production, replenishment, quality auditing, and operational support. That gave me a view of the whole flow: materials arriving at the line, checks during assembly, and the decisions needed when something was wrong.
02 / THE DECISION
Treat quality as a live operational responsibility. Combine checks, traceability, and clear escalation with an understanding of the pressure on the people doing the work.
03 / THE WORK
My responsibilities included supervising a team of 20 auditors, responding to quality escalations, coordinating operational support, and using Grafana and Matflo to monitor work and traceability. Food safety, FIFO, and consistent audit practice were part of the day-to-day work.
04 / WHAT CAME OUT OF IT
A progression from hands-on production roles into quality-control and operational-support leadership. The experience made me comfortable working across people, process, and data under real operational constraints.
A process is only as useful as its ability to survive a busy day.
